GigXero is a national next generation network provider that offers incredibly fast internet at the One65 Main building.

WHAT KIND OF ROUTER SHOULD I GET?

Tenants need a Wi-Fi router to connect wireless devices in their apartment. To ensure the best internet experience, GigXero recommends the NETGEAR R6700AX router for our GigX Premium subscribers, and the NETGEAR RAXE500 router for our GigX Advanced subscribers.

HOW FAST IS IT?

The connection in your apartment will provide simultaneous 1,000Mbps upload & download or 10,000Mbps upload & download speeds directly to your router. That’s 10x faster than Spectrum for 3x the price.

HOW DO I SIGNUP?

Simple. Sign up for an account on our website using the ‘Sign In’ tab at the top of this page, then go to the ‘Subscriptions’ tab and select the service you’d like delivered to your apartment! Once you choose your subscription, just enter in all the information in checkout so that we know who to give these lightning fast speeds to!

HOW WILL I BE BILLED?

When you choose GigXero, you will be billed on your preferred payment method every month on the day you first activate your service in your apartment, automatically.

IS IT SECURE?

Yes. GigXero runs on a pure state-of-the-art data network. We’re not limited by old unpatched network hardware that can barely keep up like traditional cable company networks. A big part of your Internet security relies on you! We highly recommended you password protect your Wi-Fi and never share your Wi-Fi password with anyone you do not trust. No matter who your provider is, always follow internet security best practices such as maintaining up-to-date antivirus software and keeping your computer updated.

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO ENSURE OPTIMAL WI-FI PERFORMANCE IN MY APARTMENT?

  1. Make sure you enable a password on your Wi-Fi when setting up your router.

  2. Ensure to disable any guest Wi-Fi during the setup.

  3. After setup when possible connect to the 5GHz or 6GHz Wi-Fi network broadcast by your router (usually with the number 5 or 6 at the end of the Wi-Fi network name. You will see this option when looking for Wi-Fi on most modern devices.)

Following these three Wi-Fi best practices will reduce interference and slowness sometimes experienced in apartment buildings when using Wi-Fi.
