WHAT SHOULD I DO TO ENSURE OPTIMAL WI-FI PERFORMANCE IN MY APARTMENT?
Make sure you enable a password on your Wi-Fi when setting up your router.
Ensure to disable any guest Wi-Fi during the setup.
After setup when possible connect to the 5GHz Wi-Fi network broadcast by your router (usually with the number 5 at the end of the Wi-Fi network name. You will see this option when looking for Wi-Fi on most modern devices.)
Following these three Wi-Fi best practices will reduce interference and slowness sometimes experienced in apartment buildings when using Wi-Fi.
